Greeters -- You could be the first person visitors see as they enter worship! A smile, handshake and a little friendly conversation goes a long way to make someone feel at home at Mt. Olive. Click here to contact us for more information.
Welcome Center -- Be a smiling face that visitors & members see as they arrive at Mt. Olive! Volunteering at the Welcome Center involves helping visitors find their way around, helping with sign ups, and distributing improtant information. Click here to contact us for more information.
Ushers -- Assist with the ins and outs of our worship services, helping everything run smoothly so that everyone has an enjoyable worship experience. Click here to contact us for more information.
Clickers -- All weekend services need someone behind the scenes to run the computer connected to the big screens in front of the Worship Center. If you are willing and able to help in this area, click here to contact us for more information.
Nursery -- We offer supervision for infants and toddlers from 6 weeks to 4 years while parents attend the 9am Bible Study and/or the 10:30am worship service. Click here to view our brochure. Click here to contact us if you'd like to volunteer in the nursery.
Office Help -- Every once in a while, our office needs additional help to stuff envelopes, work with newsletters, distribute paperwork to appropriate mailboxes, etc. If we can call you when the need arises, click here to contact us for more information.
Bulletin -- Each week we have nearly 1,000 people worship at Mt. Olive, and almost every person requires an order of service – that’s a lot of paper! Please join us on Thursday mornings at 11:00am in the Youth Room while we enjoy coffee, snacks, & fun conversation as the worship services for the weekend are prepared. Fellowship -- As needed, the fellowship team comes together to plan and provide refreshments, meals, and special events for our congregation. To be a part of our fellowship team, please click here to contact us for more information.
Vacation Bible School (VBS) -- If you are interested in helping out with our yearly summer Vacation Bible School, please click here to contact us for more information.
Prayer Chain -- We all need prayer in our life. Sometimes you are the one needing prayer and, other times, you are the one praying for others. Prayers are kept in confidence within the prayer chain or you can request that your petition be brought before the congregation during worship. If you'd like to become part of Mt. Care Ministry -- Care Ministry provides for those in need throughout the Weston area. They operate and distribute food through our pantry in addition to providing care packages throughout the year. Click here to contact us if you are willing to help.
Bethesda Thift Shop -- Volunteer at the Bethesda Thrift Shop in Wausau. All proceeds from this store support the Bethesda Lutheran Home in Watertown, WI. Please click here to contact us if you are interested in being a part of this service. |
